Wall split squat
IntermediateLegs & glutesStanding
Set-up
Face the wall with your fingertips on it and step one foot back into a long stance, back heel lifted.
How to do it
- Bend both knees and lower straight down.
- Front knee stays over the front ankle.
- Push through the front foot to stand back up.
In a Wallform routine: about 8 per side, or move at your own pace until the timer ends. Do one side, then the other.
Make it easier or harder
- Easier: Wall squat slide
- Harder: Back-foot-on-wall split squat
Wallform is general fitness, not medical advice. If you're pregnant or postpartum, recovering from an injury or have a health condition, check with a doctor or a qualified professional before you start. Stop any move that hurts.
