Side-lying leg lift
BeginnerLegs & glutesOn the floor
Set-up
Lie on your side with your head on your lower arm, legs long and the soles of your feet touching the wall.
How to do it
- Lift your top leg to about hip height, toes pointing forward.
- Lower it slowly without letting it rest.
- Keep your hips stacked; don't roll back.
In a Wallform routine: about 12 lifts per side, or move at your own pace until the timer ends. Do one side, then the other.
Make it easier or harder
- Harder: Side-lying leg pulses
Wallform is general fitness, not medical advice. If you're pregnant or postpartum, recovering from an injury or have a health condition, check with a doctor or a qualified professional before you start. Stop any move that hurts.
