Side hip lift
IntermediateCoreLegs & glutesOn the floor
Set-up
Lie on your side on your forearm, elbow under your shoulder, legs long and feet against the wall.
How to do it
- Breathe out and lift your hips until your body makes one line.
- Press your feet into the wall to steady yourself.
- Lower with control; bend your knees to make it easier.
In a Wallform routine: about 8 lifts per side, or move at your own pace until the timer ends. Do one side, then the other.
Make it easier or harder
- Easier: Side-lying leg lift
- Harder: Side plank with wall feet
Wallform is general fitness, not medical advice. If you're pregnant or postpartum, recovering from an injury or have a health condition, check with a doctor or a qualified professional before you start. Stop any move that hurts.
