BeginnerUpper bodyMobility & stretchStanding
Set-up
Stand facing the wall, a small step away, with your forearms on it at shoulder height.
How to do it
- Press your forearms lightly into the wall and slide them up overhead.
- Keep your ribs soft and your shoulders away from your ears.
- Slide back down to shoulder height with control.
In a Wallform routine: about 10 slow slides, or move at your own pace until the timer ends.
Make it easier or harder
- Harder: Wall push-up
Wallform is general fitness, not medical advice. If you're pregnant or postpartum, recovering from an injury or have a health condition, check with a doctor or a qualified professional before you start. Stop any move that hurts.
